Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen sets up new software company

24. June 2009
Microsoft co-founder, philanthropist and investor Paul G. Allen has established a new software development company called Xiant. The company is focused on creating easy-to-use tools that streamline your existing workflow, and the first product in development is Xiant Filer, a tool for managing and organizing Office Outlook inboxes.

To save Outlook users precious time, the app includes a recommendation algorithm to suggest folders where they are likely to move a message, improving filing consistency, and also provides single-click and batch filing.

A free 60-day beta version of Xiant Filer is already available for download so check out this page and give it a go.
